September 11, 2001 was a drastic day in our nation’s history. A day where we were all scared frighten but we didn’t stay on the ground we got back on our we feet. 19 Members associated with with Al-Qaeda took over 4 airplanes on our turf. Osama Bin Laden supposedly sent these members due to the fact that U.S was helping Israel in the Middle East Wars. These terrorists acted as they were flying with the rest of the people until they hijacked the planes. They were also able to sneak knives, box cutters, etc, past the airline security.  2 out of the 4 planes that these members took slammed into our world trade center in New York city, where there are 2 bright blue lights shining out of the ground to commemorate everyone who passed during this date. 3rd plane struck hit our Pentagon just outside Washington D.C. The last plane has a bit of a story behind it but in the end it crashed and burned in a field in Pennsylvania, named this incident Flight 93. These terrorist chose specific planes to make sure they had plenty of fuel in them. At the end of this drastic event 2,996 people were killed, including almost 400 police officers and firefighters. Died trying to save the most people they could before the building collapsed.

The first plane hit the 80th floor at around 8:45 trapping hundreds and killing hundreds. At this point most of us assumed that this was all some freak accident. Until the 2nd plane hit 18 min after on the 60th floor. These towers were built to withstand winds up to 200 MPH and a large fire, supposedly the building structure couldn’t handle the scolding hot fuel from the planes. The 2 buildings seemed to have minor explosions in it, it fell straight down

like you were playing a the game Jenga. Multiple buildings around these towers also collapsed, which just added onto the death toll. Up to 10,000 were treated for injuries most survived, some didn’t.

We all thought this horror scene was over until another plane hit our Pentagon around 9:45. It was obvious that these terrorist were aiming for places we keep close to our heart. It was shown to us that  this was no freak accident these men were ready for their death, and they fly many others to their death. In total about 189 people died at the Pentagon. If I remember correctly I’m pretty sure they were evacuating the building by the time the plane hit. The Pentagon didn’t fall like the towers it stood up for the most part, the building partially fell.

The last drastic event that happened was called Flight 93. This flight was supposed to be in the air with the rest of them but it’s flight got delayed by a few. By the time they were in the air the people find out about all that has happened before them. A panic shoots through the plane and people start to wonder if they are on the list. They soon realized that they were. Terrorists had control of the plane, flight attendants and passengers realized they didn’t want to be another statistic. These people decided to take their fate in their own hands.

A woman says her husband called her to say his goodbyes and which ever and at the end of the call she heard “… you ready? Let’s roll!” which was the people fighting back against the terrorist. People supposedly swamped the cockpit and filled it with white smoke using a fire extinguisher. They were able to fight back but still lost control of the plane and fell from the sky at 500 MPH. Landed in a field in Pennsylvania, not one person survived all were dead including the terrorists. No one really knows the terrorist target but there is many assumptions.

As Americans  think it’s safe to say we don’t let anyone push us around. So as a nation we fought back. We sent tons of soldiers to the middle east to try and take out Taliban. The goal still hasn’t been achieved. At 2 months we have slowed them down and cut down their numbers. New members join to their clan either free choice or forcefully. Troops were able to track the mastermind behind the terrorists Osama Bin Laden, he was shot and killed in 2011. 10 years after 9/11 we found him, happiness and anger filled people. But we came back together as a nation. Since our main target was found Obama pulled some troops out of Israel, but many are still out there.

Now since you know the story I’m going to tell you the conspiracies behind some of 9/11. Some say officials got a terrorist threat call describing what happened, but didn’t believe them or take it seriously. The biggest conspiracy was people claiming that the falling of the towers was controlled demolition, some say there was planted bombs and they went off seconds before the plane touched the building. Which honestly I’m not going to sell it short I think some of 9/11 was controlled and known, today with our government anythings possible. But it’s hard to prove anything when you don’t have any evidence to back up your claim, and we all know all the evidence was destroyed the only thing we can inspect are photos. Which is even hard to believe because the government controls that. Some also say a plane never hit the Pentagon, it was a missile. Many including myself find it weird that we invaded Iraq even though they had nothing to do with the things that happened.
