Iphone XR Review

Apple releasing the newest edition of the iphone, the Iphone XR, this friday, October 26th. Everybody has been hyping this up, because its a “combination” of some of the previous generations of iphones. Apple was able to make a similar structure as the iphone 7 for the back of the phone, while the front of the phone’s screen stayed larger like the X. The camera was changed back smaller to how it used to be, but the quality still getting better.

Other features of the XR include wireless charging capabilities, IOS 12, and more. Back to what I said where its a combination of generations of iphones, the XR is made out of aluminium, instead of stainless steel. This gives the option of color choice, just like the iphone 5c. These colors include black, white, blue, coral, yellow, and red.

The camera quality has been better than ever before. The XR has something called Smart HDR, which takes multiple pictures at a time, and blends them together for the best looks. This is so amazing because it can eliminate shadows and make everything seem much brighter. The Iphone XR and XS share the same picture quality. They both contain a 12-megapixel wide angle camera, and the video quality can go up to 4k resolution. Why spend much more money paying for the iphone XS, when you can pay less for the XR , and they have the same camera quality?

This leads right into the price. The Iphone XR’s starting price is $749. Don’t get me wrong, that’s still a lot of money, but its reasonable for such a high quality phone. However, for the Iphone XS, prices go as high as about $1,100. Clearly the XR is the phone for a mediocre budget. The XR is the Iphone already selling for the best and most reasonable price, and affordable. Another good thing about the XR is the weight. The XR is thinner and weighs less than the X and XS, which is what people have been asking for. There is nothing better than a slightly bigger screen that weighs less.

The downside to the XR is that not everyone likes the bigger screen. Based on personal preference, some people like small phones that can fit in your pocket. Another downside is for the users who have not owned an X at all. The home button. The home button has been a feature on the iphone as long as its been out. This downside falls for any iphone X. Some people like the home button and don’t want to get rid of it.

The choice is completely yours. If you are looking for a new phone, get the Iphone XR. It’s clearly the most affordable Iphone that’s up to date, soon to be out tomorrow. Do you want that amazing camera everyone talks about? Do you like a screen that takes up the whole phone for the biggest and best quality possible? There are many more great features about the phone, but these are the basics. Consider taking a deeper look into getting the Iphone XR.
