In New England everyone has been getting prepared for hurricane Jose. Not even a week ago Florida was hit by Hurricane Irma and before that there was Hurricane Harvey,the united states just keeps getting terrible hurricanes. These hurricanes have caused so much disruption us new englanders did not know what to expect from Jose. Mostly around the cape and the islands are getting the lash of Jose. People in Middleboro heard that we might be getting hit by the storm so people were at our local supermarkets stocking up on whatever they think they will need during the Hurricane. People are of course stocking up on water and packaged food that doesn’t need to be refrigerated just in case the power goes out which is definitely a smart decision. But there are others around us that aren’t taking the correct precautions they should be.

        Since the Hurricane was going to put a greater impact of effect on the Islands and the coastline inner towns like Middleboro didn’t have much to worry about.But people should have still been getting prepared for what could have happened. People should be getting food,water, and protecting important documents that they will need.

        Now a few days later after the storm we have  debris from Jose everywhere and are trying to clean everything up. Luckily we weren’t as affected by these hurricanes compared to the people that live in florida who had to prepare for harvey and then Irma. Irma and Harvey were such big hurricanes in total they took thousands of lives because people didn’t take the correct percussions. People were being told in florida to evacuate the state and get shelter somewhere else because of how bad the storm was going to be. Some People who didn’t take this into consideration sadly lost their lives or lost their homes.

        The aftermath of all of these hurricanes is so horrible in some paces but in Puerto Rico people still don’t have power. Irma and Maria hit puerto Rico and practically took everything out in their paths. So many homes and places where these people spent their free time and went to with their families. Now all fotis is gone and these people have been through so much and lost so much.

        The devastation that these Hurricanes are bringing to the people who are being affected is unbelievable. Already Hurricane maria has destroyed so many homes and buildings in Puerto rico that weren’t demolished by hurricane Irma. The path of Maira is to come to Virginia and the carolinas. The storms we are getting will never be forgotten about because they have caused so many problems and changed people’s lives forever. Hopefully people will soon start to listen when they tell you what to do to keep safe and many more lives will be saved.
